Patriotic Painted WWII Jerry Can

This exuberantly painted WWII issued jerry can is dated 1945 with decoration of the period. The quality and style of the painting point to the hand of a professional sign painter or possibly a tattoo artist. All four sides of the can are embellished with multicolored details. In fine original condition with slight oxidation and minor areas of rust.  American, circa 1945.
