Oak Sideboard Model Bm-57 by Børge Mogensen

A rare and beautifully maintained piece crafted of veneer and solid oak hardwoods. Two folding doors conceal two drawers and two adjustable shelves. It features brass hardware and original keys.

In exceptional original condition with a wonderful nut brown patina.

The BM57 sideboard is no longer in production.

This example is not signed but the design is unmistakably Børge Mogensen.

Børge Mogensen (1914-1972) was a very productive designer during the 50’s and the 60’s, together with Finn Juhl, Hans J. Wegner and Arne Jacobsen he helped define and popularize the Danish Modern style.
